Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
Short version: we collect only what we need to audit and fix your website, we never sell your data, and there are no advertising trackers on this site. Details below. Questions: hello@seoctopus.online.
What we collect
- What you give us at checkout: your name, email address, business name and website address, from the get-started form.
- Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we see only that a payment succeeded, plus the receipt details Stripe shares with merchants.
- Your website's public pages: our audit reads your site the same way Google does, to find what is broken.
- Standard server logs: like almost every website, our server records the IP address and requested page for each visit, kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
What we use it for
- Running your audit and delivering your report and fixes.
- Emailing you about your order: findings, delivery, receipts.
- Nothing else. We do not send marketing you did not ask for.
What we never do
We never sell your data. Ever. Not your contact details, not your audit results, not your traffic. No exceptions.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process your payment (Stripe's privacy policy).
- Our email provider, to deliver your report to your inbox.
- Authorities, only if the law genuinely requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party trackers. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives a standard font request when the page loads.
How long we keep it
Order details and audit reports are kept as long as needed to support your order and meet bookkeeping obligations. Server logs rotate out automatically.
