Terms of Service

Last updated: August 30, 2026

These terms apply when you buy anything from SEOctopus at seoctopus.online. Buying a service from us means you agree to them. Questions first? Email hello@seoctopus.online.

What we do

SEOctopus audits your website, shows you what is broken or holding it back in Google, and fixes it. It is a one-time service with a one-time price, not a subscription.

You get initial findings within 24 hours of purchase and full delivery within 3 to 5 business days. If your site turns out to need something unusual that changes that timeline, we tell you before we proceed.

Access to your site

We work on a valet key basis: you grant us the least access needed to do the work (for WordPress sites, Editor-level access), and you keep full ownership and admin control of your site, domain and hosting at all times. We never ask you to hand your site over to us, and you can revoke our access the moment the work is delivered.

What we need from you

Payment

Payment is taken once, up front, through Stripe. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay; there are no recurring charges. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

What we promise, and what nobody can

We promise to diagnose your site honestly and to fix what your tier covers, to a professional standard. We do not promise a specific Google ranking, a specific amount of traffic, or specific revenue. Nobody controls Google, and anyone who guarantees you position one is not being straight with you.

Your content stays yours

Everything on your site remains yours. Fixes and changes we deliver to your site become yours on delivery. Our own tools, audit software and processes remain ours.

Liability

We take care with your site, including backing up what we change where the platform allows it. To the maximum extent the law permits, our total liability for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data held by third parties. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

SEOctopus operates from California, United States. These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the service, are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of California have jurisdiction over them.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the new version applies to purchases made after it is posted here. The version in force when you bought applies to your order.
